Marimekko's Pienet Elokuun Varjot apron is illustrated with Maija Louekari’s flourishing pattern from 2020 in shades of natural linen and fresh green. Drawing inspiration from Louekari’s own yard, the Elokuun Varjot design depicts a lush garden, slightly overgrown during the summer months. Wild, free, and awash with sweet August scents, the shaded garden offers a place to escape the heat and enjoy the warm winds.
The apron is made of cotton and linen and has waist straps and a pocket on the front. The size can be adjusted with the neckband’s snap buttons.
