Made from a cotton, this cushion cover features the Louhi pattern. The cover has a concealed zipper on one side. Our cushion covers are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.
Louhi is part of a winter floral series by Aino-Maija Metsola – and the queen of the North in Finnish mythology. The intriguing design, painted with watercolors, captures frosted plants and the last small flowers already caught by the cold.
Aino-Maija Metsola created the Kokadera design originally for a Marimekko exhibition organized in Japan. The pattern, inspired by Kyoto’s famous moss garden, has an enchanting feel to it.
Marimekko is a Finnish design house celebrated worldwide for its original prints and colours. Founded in 1951 by a visionary woman Armi Ratia, Marimekko is said to be one of the world's first real lifestyle brands combining fashion, bags and accessories as well as home decoration into one unique point of view.
Made in Finland.
