The Kivet Puffi pouf by Marimekko is adorned with a pattern of jagged circles designed by Maija Isola in 1956. Named after the Finnish word for stones, Kivet was inspired by large rocks that were dug up from the yard of the artist’s atelier. The beige pattern gives the unbleached fabric a dynamic yet natural feeling.
The large and lightweight pouf is filled with small styrofoam balls and has a thick cotton cover that is removable and washable. The relaxed and elegant Puffi is perfect as a cozy pouf or footstool and it also functions as a seat by a low table.
