From as early as Yolanda can remember, food has been an expression of family, love, and community.
For her, cooking is about expressing gratitude for, and creating memories with, the people you love. Her food is influenced by her upbringing, the community of people who taught her classic recipes, and her travels across the world.
From watching her mum cook from a young age and learning how to make her parents favourite dishes, she knew that food was a great expression of love. It’s this love and compassion that led Yolanda to embrace a vegan lifestyle. A natural extension of her ethos, she believes that vegan cooking is exciting, flavourful and decadent.
Yolanda is guided by her love for food—aromatic spices, seasonal produce, the fresh textures of vegetables and the simplicity of olive oil and salt. Cooking should be simple, using ingredients you have at home in exciting and new ways.
Everything that Yolanda creates can be cooked with little equipment, and ingredients you already have.
